SRK gets set to crack the Oscars
MUMBAI: Gearing up for the promotion of his Oscar-nominated film Paheli, actor Shah Rukh Khan is on the verge of finalising a topline agency to lobby for his production.
"Ashok Amritraj and Deepak Chopra too are helping me with how I should go about promoting the film," said Khan who's abroad shooting for Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.
"We are very small here, we need to release the film in mainstream cinemas in the US.

While promotion and publicity are important, the bottomline is how many members of the Academy vote for you.
But I am getting positive feedback for the film. People who have seen it are pleasantly surprised to see such a beautiful-looking India in Paheli," he added.
The screening in the foreign film category began on October 28. Khan is now planning to re-release the film in the art house circuit as well as in non-Asian theatres in the US to give it better exposure. "I need to promote the film. The entire crew of the film including the director will be here in December," said SRK.
There are a record 58 countries vying for the Foreign Language Film Award, including new entrants such as Costa Rica, Fiji and Iraq. The nominations for the Academy's foreign film category will be announced on January 31 at 3.30 pm.
